Vogue’s 5 Days of Fashion Styling course is an intensive, hands-on programme designed to introduce you to the key principles of styling in the fashion industry. Throughout the week, you’ll explore how to create impactful looks, work with models, and bring fashion visions to life for editorial shoots, fashion shows, and digital platforms.

Guided by industry professionals from Vogue’s global network, you’ll learn how to develop styling concepts, source garments, and collaborate with photographers, designers, and creative teams. This course is ideal for aspiring stylists or anyone looking to deepen their understanding of fashion styling.

The programme connects students with professionals from Vogue and other Condé Nast titles like Glamour and GQ, providing a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business. By the end of the course, you will have styled your own shoot and presented your styling work to industry professionals.

Modules

The course is structured to give you a solid understanding of the core aspects of fashion styling, with a strong focus on practical application:

Celebrity, Show, & Personal Styling

Explore the world of celebrity, runway, and personal styling. Gain insights into working with high-profile clients, creating memorable red-carpet looks, and collaborating with designers for fashion shows.

Trends & Street Style

Understand the impact of street style on fashion trends and how to translate emerging styles into everyday looks. Learn to identify and curate outfits that capture the spirit of the moment.

Styling for Editorial & Advertising

Develop the skills needed to style for fashion editorials and advertising campaigns. Focus on creating impactful visual stories that align with brand messages and editorial concepts.

Styling for Lookbooks

Learn how to style lookbooks that showcase collections in a way that resonates with the target audience. Gain practical experience in presenting garments effectively for commercial use.

Structure

This five-day programme is designed to provide an immersive experience into the world of fashion styling. Through workshops, demonstrations, and practical exercises, you’ll gain real-world styling skills.

There will be talks from industry experts on a range of related subjects such as street style photography, the stylist’s kit, advertising & lookbooks, celebrity, show, and personal styling.  Highlights of the course include; a studio photoshoot for editorial; a still-life photoshoot for social media, and a celebrity styling workshop.

Students will also look at the work of established stylists and photographers, as well as learning about agencies, and the differences between styling for editorial and advertising.

This programme is awarded by Vogue College of Fashion. It is structured as a five-day programme. The programme combines academic rigour and industry engagement with practical and professional skills, drawing on the expertise of Vogue’s wide network of industry professionals.

Credits

The course carries no credits within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

To secure your place on the course, the tuition fee must be paid in full at the point of booking. Please note, there is no deposit option available for bookings.

Students do not have the option to pay the tuition fee in instalments for this course.

Student Loans, Scholarships, & Bursaries

Students studying at Vogue College of Fashion are currently ineligible for student loans.
