Academic Entry Requirements
UK applicants must achieve a minimum of 96 UCAS tariff points from the following qualifications:
- Three A-Levels
- Vogue Fashion Foundation Programme
- BTEC Extended Diploma with grades Merit, Merit, Merit or higher
- International Baccalaureate
- T Levels
- City and Guilds
- Cambridge Technicals
- Access Diploma
- Access to HE Diploma
- Or an equivalent full RQF Level 3 qualification
International applicants should hold qualifications equivalent to UK A-Level grades BBB. You may contact us for clarification required, and may need to obtain a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC if necessary.
English Language Requirements
International applicants are required to demonstrate proficiency at Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Level B2, such as IELTS Academic for UKVI Level 6.0 or above, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. Test results certificates must accompany applications.
Age Requirement
You need to be aged 18 or over on 01 September at the start of the academic year in which your chosen course starts.
Portfolio Guidelines
You must submit a digital portfolio showcasing your creative prowess and intellectual acumen. Portfolios should include:
- ONE written piece (600-800 words) on a relevant fashion or media topic.
- AT LEAST TWO creative pieces (e.g. photography, styling).
- ONE 500-word personal statement outlining your suitability for and understanding of the course, the relevance of your background and your reasons for applying
Applicants without an existing creative portfolio should create a visual moodboard for a fashion shoot, explaining their creative vision. We also accept web, blog, or video portfolios, provided you include a link in your application.
Personal Statement
Our Fashion Media portfolio of postgraduate programmes also require you to submit a 500-word personal statement as part of your application outlining your interest in the programme, Vogue College of Fashion, and how you envision this course supporting your future career goals.
Reference letters and Curriculum vitae or résumé
Two references from an academic or professional contact. Candidates who graduated more than 2 years prior to applying may present two professional references if they are no longer in contact with the faculty at their undergraduate institution. A current curriculum vitae which includes short written summary of the applicants career, qualifications, and education.
Application Review
Your application will undergo rigorous review, considering both submitted work and personal statements. Missing documents may delay processing or result in application rejection.
If successful at this stage, you will be invited to a 20-30 minute online interview to further assess your suitability for the course.
If successful, you will be informed of an offer of a place within five working days of your complete application submission.
