The Vogue Fashion Foundation programme is an immersive, on-campus course designed for individuals eager to explore the dynamic world of fashion and media. The Vogue Foundation Programme is ideal for students at the beginning of their fashion journey or for those looking to strengthen their portfolio for further study in fashion or creative industries. With guidance from Vogue experts, you’ll develop your creative voice and build a professional portfolio that reflects your talents in fashion communication.

By the end of the course, you’ll have gained a strong foundation in fashion media, developed key skills across various creative disciplines, and gained the confidence to pursue further education or entry-level roles within the fashion industry.

Structure

This nine-month programme is structured over three 10-week terms at RQF level 3. It combines academic study with industry-focused skills, preparing you for a career in the fashion media, fashion business, and luxury lifestyle industries.

Creative Industries

This module introduces the fashion and creative industries, covering key sectors like media, marketing, and retail. You’ll explore industry trends, roles, and career paths, gaining a broad understanding of the creative landscape to prepare for further study.

Fashion Portfolio Part 1

Learn the basics of building a fashion portfolio, focusing on visual communication, concept development, and presentation. This module helps you start creating portfolio work that reflects your personal style and creative potential.

Multimedia Practice Part 1

This module introduces multimedia content creation, covering photography, videography, and digital tools. You’ll gain hands-on experience with creating impactful visual content, laying the foundation for more advanced projects.

Fashion Portfolio Part 2

Continue developing your portfolio with more advanced concepts and techniques. You’ll refine your creative voice and work on higher-level projects to elevate the quality of your portfolio.

Multimedia Practice Part 2

This module advances your multimedia skills, focusing on more polished content creation and storytelling. You’ll produce professional-quality visuals across different platforms, deepening your expertise in multimedia production.

Fashion Media and Communication

Learn how fashion brands develop their identity and communicate with audiences. This module covers brand voice, visual content, and multi-platform communication strategies through case studies and practical assignments.

Fashion Portfolio Part 3

Finalise your personal portfolio, curating a professional body of work for future opportunities. This module helps you present a cohesive and polished portfolio that reflects your skills and creative vision.

Multimedia Practice Part 3

In this final multimedia module, you’ll complete a comprehensive project showcasing your mastery of content creation. This project will demonstrate your ability to engage fashion audiences through multimedia storytelling.

Accrediting Body & Award Structure

This programme holds international recognition as a qualification accredited and conferred by The University of Buckingham. It is structured as three 10-week terms spread across ten months at RQF level 3. The programme combines academic rigour and industry engagement with practical and professional skills, drawing on the expertise of Vogue’s wide network of industry professionals.

Credits

The foundation programme carries a value of 135 credits within the UK’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at level 4, equivalent to 67.5 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits.

This programme contains modules, experiences and opportunities designed to equip you with the essential skills, knowledge and practise crucial for a successful fashion career, from personal development to professional practice.

Deposit Payment & Instalment Options

To secure your place on the course, a deposit of £3,000.00 is required within 14 days of receiving your offer. Please note, the deposit option is unavailable for bookings made within six weeks of the course start date where full course fees are required.

Students have the option to pay the tuition fee in instalments over the duration of the course. International students are required to pay the first instalment of the course fee in full and in advance to obtain the CAS number necessary for Student Visa purposes.

Student Loans, Scholarships, & Bursaries

Students studying at Vogue College of Fashion are currently ineligible for student loans.
